This Email is Brought to You By Summer Camp
Turns out it's a lot easier to work without kids around.
Dispatch from the middle of my kids’ summer camp session: I’m so, so bored. They’re in camp for six weeks, and we’re in the middle of the third week. I’m spending my days with my two youngest kiddos, babies. And I am lowkey losing my mind not having people in the house that can talk. And so, I’m working. A lot. Maybe too much. But that’s more fun than cleaning my basement, so here we are.
I did a few fun media appearances recently: On Newsmax about chestfeeding (unfortunately I don’t have that clip), Fox News @ Night with Asra Nomani about Moms for Liberty, and an hour-long podcast with Bridget Phetasy (it’s not up yet, but you should subscribe to her YouTube channel and podcast anyway - here's the link for the video of her podcast).
One of my favorite radio hosts in America is Seth Leibsohn. I could talk to him all day. Which in radio, I kind of did yesterday. Think of it like a podcast and listen to it on your way back from work, it’s a great show.
Did you know that every Tuesday morning at 7:50, I have a conversation with the one and only Hugh Hewitt? Well, now you know. I’m known for having … visitors on the video component of the show. Here’s a funny clip from last week. Please don’t share that, just an Easter egg for subscribers who have read this far.
In addition to the media, I’ve had a few pieces across the web.
Over at Newsweek: President Biden: Turning Your Back on Your Granddaughter Is Inexcusable
At the Spectator: Lessons for young daters about the Jonah Hill saga
And the New York Post: Dems are showing their misogyny by calling concerned moms like Casey DeSantis ‘Karens’
In book news, The Washington Examiner published one of my favorite reviews of Stolen Youth to date. You can buy my book here, or if you live locally, buy it from me directly and I’ll sign it. I have too many copies around my house, you’ll be doing me a favor.
I’ve been working on my book proposal also this summer, and a few people recommended I read The Case Against the Sexual Revolution as part of that prep. And wow, was it worth it. Louise Perry mentioned on Twitter she’s writing a version of it for teen girls, and I am absolutely going to snatch that up when it’s released. But for the ladies especially, I strongly recommend her book.
Thank you for reading, I guess I’m off to clean my basement.
